Janice Russell Rohe, 69, of Rockville, passed away August 21, 2023. Born Janice Kay Russell December 24, 1953, in East Lansing Michigan, she was the daughter of Kenneth D. Russell DVM, and Wilma Stine Boswell.

She was a member, Elder and former Clerk of Session of the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Rockville. She also formerly served on the Committee of Ministry for the Ohio Valley Presbytery.

Janice loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed bird watching and horses. She liked gardening and singing. She had been a member of the Parke County Women’s Chorus. She liked Native American Studies and spirituality and was proud of her Native American heritage.

Janice is survived by her husband James F. Rohe; two daughters, Vedra Bays (James Watts), and Amanda Dillon (Trent); stepdaughter, Angela Boggess (Jason); and stepson, Timothy Rohe (Greta). She is also survived by her sister, Sharla Russell (Ivan/Monty Warner); 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents

Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes and Rice Funeral Home of Rockville.
