Jane Fox, 89, formerly of Rockville and Marshall, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 6:18 a.m. at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute. Born April 18, 1930 in Rockville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wade Cahill and Marvell Leona Back Cahill.

She graduated from Rockville High School in 1948. She married Raymond Fox on October 1, 1955. Raymond preceded her in death on January 23, 2019.
Jane is survived by a daughter, Kathy G. Jones of Bloomingdale; son, Michael R. Fox of Westport; 3 grandchildren, Zachary L. Jones, Brittany A. Shannon and Stacy K. Fox; 3 great-grandchildren, Jaxton R. Shannon, Hendrix L. Shannon, and Bexley K. Shannon and a niece, Carmen Treichler of Stuttgart, Germany. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson, Jonathon Michael Fox; son-in-law, Roger Jones; sister, Wilma Hite Satterfield; and nephew, Frederick Bauer (Fritzi).

Jane previously worked at the G.C. Murphy Co., Indiana Bell Telephone Co. and Fox Insurance Agency, where she was an agent and member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association. She was a member of the Marshall Federated Church and Secretary for the Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of the Busy Homemakers Home Ec Club.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 4:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. at the Marshall Federated Church, 105 North Main Street, Marshall, Indiana. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. at the Church with Reverend Brian Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery near Marshall. Arrangements by Barnes and Rice Funeral Home of Rockville.
