I knew Ruby when I was a child growing up in Catlini in the 1950s. I mowed her yard every week for her in the summers for $1.25, as well as the yards of her two sisters, also living in Catlin. All three were widows at the time. Her sisters were Faye Pence Campbell and Lola Pence McMillin. I think their parents once owned a store in Catlin and maybe also in Bridgeton. Bill Hill Class of 1966.
