My Uncle "Bud" was my Mother's twin...I want to pay tribute to him...He always greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome in his presence...He was an avid golfer and he and my Aunt would go fishing after he came home from working...He was civic minded--he served in World War II and on the Rockville Town Board--where he also was president---My Mother and he and their families always celebrated their birthday dinner together--alternating every year at each other house...I always pause a moment when I recall my Mother gently "combing her brother's hair" when he was in the hospital--He had always had "wavy" black hair --which "crowned" him beautifully...He doted on his wife,son and daughter...and their children...
