ROCKVILLE- Helen Louise Jaco Dooley, 87, of Rockville, Indiana died at 2:16 pm Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Clinton Gardens. She was the retired owner of the Motel Forrest and Restaurant in Rockville.

She was born November 19, 1927 in Cayuga, Indiana to the late Harry Jaco and Zoe Mae Martin Jaco. Her husband of 56 years, Walter Reid Dooley whom she married April 20, 1957 died July 19, 2014. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Swaim Mellay of Rockville; one son, Marc Alan Dooley of Montezuma; one sister, Betty J. Farner of Rockville; four grandchildren, Shawnee Selph Porter, Dane Selph, Taylor Mellay Lajiness and Ashley Dooley; eight great-grandchildren.

She was a 1945 graduate of Rockville High School and a member of the former Order of the Eastern Star chapter 177 in Rockville. She worked in her father's business Jaco School Supply and was an operator with Indiana Bell Telephone both in Rockville.

Services will be 11:00 am Friday, October 2, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with the Rev. Patrick J. Fahey officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is 4-8 pm Thursday at Gooch Funeral Home.
