ROCKVILLE-Ronald B. Smiley, 80, of Rockville, Indiana died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Conway Healthcare and Rehab in Conway, Arkansas. He retired from Rockville Ice and Fuel with 25 years of service. He was also employed by Lowry Wholesale, Skelgas of Rockville and was a cook for the White Horse Café in Rockville. He was born March 19, 1937 in Parke County, Indiana to the late Leon Smiley and Alice Cramer Smiley. Survivors include Susie Huber his wife of 18 years, two sons, Rodney (Peggy) Smiley of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Bill Smiley of Rockville; one brother, Ernie Smiley of Rockville; one sister, Ramona Byers of Des Moines, Iowa; one grandson, Bruce (Rachel) Smiley; one step-grandson, Marty McClain; two step-granddaughters, Patty (Brian) Hibbs and Lou Ann (Jeff) Pell; 10 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by Betty Tarter and granddaughter Stephanie Smiley.   He was a graduate of Rockville High School and attended the Rockville First Baptist Church. Services will be 10:00 am  Friday, June 16 at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with the Rev. Mark Houvenagle officiating.
