ROCKVILLE- Judith Ann Hall, 72, of Rockville, Indiana died at 3:22 am Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Indiana University Hospital at Indianapolis. 

She was a retired nurse having worked for Parke County Residential Center and Lee Alan Bryant Healthcare Facilities both in Rockville and Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. She also served as Director of Nursing for Castle Shannon Nursing Home, Rockville. 

She was born August 10, 1941 in Parke County, Indiana to the late Aden S. Decker and Wanetta Sowers Decker. 

Her husband of 41 years William D. Hall whom she married June 5, 1963 died April 17, 2005. 

Survivors include one son, Dave (Dorothy) Hall of Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Jodi Carr of Rockville, Indiana; step children whom she loved dearly, Billy (Nita) Hall of Marshall, Indiana, Merle (Harold) Norman of Rockville, Indiana and Lynda Lawson of Judson, Indiana; six grandchildren, Rebecca (Cheyne) Brown, Joshua Hall, Aaron (Megan) Carr, Jacob (Kim) Hall, Adam Carr and Joy Hall; one great-granddaughter, Emmanuela Carpenter; many step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and step great-great-grandchildren that she loved as her own; a very close friend and BFF, Betty Hinchy, who was the "Ethel to her Lucy" or vice versa. 

She was preceded in death by two son-in-laws, James Lawson on April 19, 2007 and Paul Carr on April 26, 2008. 

She was a member of the Rockville First Assembly Evangelistic Center, Parke County Community Hand Bell Choir and Parke Players. She worked in the medical profession all her life attending Ivy Tech Community College in 1982 and completed the LPN program to become a nurse. Nursing was a natural progression for Judy because she was a gentle loving person who enjoyed caring for people. 

Services will be 2:30 pm Saturday, October 5, in Rockville First Assembly Evangelistic Center, 541 W. US Highway 36, Rockville, Indiana with Pastor Jerry Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Bruin Cemetery at Guion, Indiana. Visitation is 4-8 pm Friday at Rockville First Assembly Evangelistic Center.
