ROCKVILLE- Don R. Navel, 68, of Rockville died Saturday, December 27, 2008 in VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville, Illinois. 

He was retired from the United States Air Force. He was born December 7, 1940 in Rockville, Indiana to the late Carl W. Navel and Mary E. Thomas Navel. 

Survivors include his wife, Eva Schofield Navel whom he married April 26, 1986. Also surviving one son, David Navel of Indianapolis; one daughter, Mary Suzette Smith of Tennessee; one brother, Stephen Navel of Rockville; five grandsons; 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward D. Navel on Oct. 19, 2003. 

He was a graduate of Rockville High School and Indiana University. He was an active member of Foursquare Gospel Church in Terre Haute where he was a Bible Teacher.
