Dena Foxworthy, 71, of Rockville, passed away November 30, 2022, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born November 6, 1951, in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Robert M. Jeffries and Gladys Jane Clark Jeffries.

Dena graduated from Rockville High School in 1969. She previously worked at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles when it was in the basement of the Parke County Courthouse. She retired from the Parke County Health Department and most recently worked part-time for the Parke County Recorder. She was a Scentsy Consultant and operated her business out of her “she-shed” at her home.

She was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church and Rockville Christian Church. She was also a member of the VFW Post #1752 Auxiliary.

Dena is survived by 2 children, Amanda Foxworthy of Rockville, and Eric Foxworthy (Stephanie) of Rockville; 4 grandchildren, Whitney Johnson (Tim), Hillary Woodard (Hermino), Trevor Woodard (Desiree) and Cullen Foxworthy; 6 great-grandchildren, Lyliah Pritchard, Weston Pritchard, Tucker Johnson, Kohen Smith, Natalie Gutierrez, and Baya Gutierrez. She is also survived by her sister, Marianna Martin of Sunrise, Florida; 2 nieces, Angie Martin and Tara Pickett and nephew, Allen Martin.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Susan Millikan.

Cremation has been chosen. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville. Inurnment will be at Roachdale Cemetery at a later date.
