Our Lana died in Harlingen, Texas on March 14, 2007 of lung failure complicated by MS. She and her husband, Bill, had a winter home there, and she loved it so much. They enjoyed traveling in their lovely RV and often came and spent weeks at a time here at a lake near our home in Illinois. What fun we had when "Lanny" was here!! She did many interesting things in her short life. She owned and operated her own flower shop, and her favorite job was as an EMT.She was a township trustee for several years, and she is buried in a little cemetery she watched over in that capacity. After retirement, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her "children" - her two tiny little dogs which were always in her lap.Her life was made very difficult by MS, but she rarely complained. Lana had two sons, Lewie and Charlie Gossett, who are both in Rockville. We will miss her and love her forever. Linda
