Red Fred, What a super nice man. After art class Fred and George would come in art and grab up all the paper trash and walk two doors down and disappear with the trash. So one day I followed them in this door figuring the worst was getting chased out. I had to see what was going on here.
This door was the upper level of the boiler room and there was this huge incinerator they would burn the trash in. It was big enough to cremate a person in! Fred and George showed it to me and that started me sitting on the concrete steps about ten minutes each day watching trash burn and talking to Red Fred and George. Fred told great stories about the old coal mines out by his house and his kids who I call friends yet today. This would run me a few minutes late to shop class. Gossett would ask were have you been, we started with out you. I would say I had to burn the trash. Gossetto never gave me a tardy. I drink coffee on Sundays with Gossetto I should ask him why no tardies.
