Edward D. Navel, 57 of Rockville, died at 2:24 PM Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute.

He was a retired operating engineer. He was born July 9, 1946 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Carl W. Navel and to Mary E. Thomas Navel.

Survivors include two brothers, Don R. Navel and Stephen C. Navel both of Rockville;

He was a 1964 graduate of Rockville High School. He was a member of Operating Engineers local 841 in Terre Haute.

Graveside services are 2:00 PM Tuesday Oct. 21, 2003 in the Rockville Cemetery with Don R. Navel officiating. Burial will follow. Gooch Funeral Home at 112 Howard St. in Rockville is handling arrangements.
