Jim Case

James Martin Case, age 73, of Medina, OH, passed away on November 26, 2019. He was born on October 20, 1946, in Rockville, IN to the late Warren and Lenore (nee Martin) Case.

He has lived the last seven years in assisted living near his sister where he enjoyed a good joke, eating out in restaurants, reading, and watching action movies. He liked getting mail from his old classmates.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and very proud of it. He liked to take part in the Veteran's celebrations they did at his facility on Veteran's Day.

He will be missed by J. D. Case (Brother) and wife Carol, Karen Duvall (Sister) and husband Bill, Jennifer Holland (Sister) and Don.

The family asks that donations may be made in James’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project, https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/ or by mail PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/ or by mail 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Arrangements for James were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256

The celebration of life for Jim Case (mentioned below) has been canceled until a later unspecified date.  Will notify at a later date when arrangements have been made.

Saddened to inform you that Jim passed away this morning. It was the COPD that got him. He had been in ICU for a week and a half. Finally could not eat.  It was his choice not to have breathing tube or feeding tube.

Our family will be celebrating his life on Saturday the 30th at the 36 Saloon around 4pm if anyone wants to stop by. Please pass the word as his obit will not be in the sentinel paper until the following Wednesday as it only comes out once a week!!

He sure enjoyed the cards he has gotten from his classmates and I want to thank you for that.

 Sincerely

Jennifer  Case
