I am so sorry to see this!  My condolences to Marilyn's family.  I played in the sandbox with her as well as her little travel trailer playhouse when we were wee little things.  My Gram and Gramp Lucas lived next door and I always looked forward to playing with Marilyn when I visited.  I've kept in touch over the years as much as I could living so far away.  I'd always visit the bank when I came home to say hi to her.  And we'd been more in touch since our class reunion five years ago.  She was such a dear and I know she will be deeply missed.  Gone way, way too soon.

We've lost a great friend, a kind and considerate person with a sense of humor.  My condolences to Marilyn's family and friends.  Remember the good times and laughing together. I will.  She is in a better place now where we hope to meet again some day.

I only want to reflect on the great friend Marilyn was. She was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I knew. Marilyn, Jerry, Nancy and  I used to spend many nights at the Myers Lumber office for “study” nights. We always had such fun. Marilyn was so smart and I learned much from her. She was an awesome model of how to treat others. For those that remember “Senior cords” she displayed her art talents on mine...they were awesome! Marilyn left is way too soon and I’ll miss seeing her when I’m in Rockville.

I pray for her family and loved ones to be showered with the peace of The Lord!

Yes, Marilyn was so kind and pleasant all the time.  She and Jayne Lucas were the first people I met when I started the 6th grade in Rockville and they made sure I felt welcomed. She was so fun at those slumber parties the girls had. And so smart!  Over the years I would run into her in Rockville and she was still the very nice and gracious person I knew.  I was so glad to see her at our 50th reunion. She did leave this world too soon. To her family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.
