Carol Ann Teschmacher Cooper, 67 of Lafayette, passed away peacefully at her Lake Wales, Florida residence March 21, 2015. Born October 10, 1947 in Rockville, she was the daughter of Phillip and Marguerite Teschmacher. Her husband of 31 years, Paul Cooper, survives. She graduated from Rockville High School and Indiana Wesleyan College. She worked at Indiana State University in the Admissions office and retired from the Purdue Financial Aid Department in 2011. Other survivors include a son, Joseph Michael Parke of Rossville; grandson, Logan Parke of Rossville; two sisters, Phyllis (Phil) Junker of Cloverdale and Susan Teschmacher of Rockville; nephew, Erik (Sarah) Junker and children, Denver, Molly and Kenedy; and niece Michelle (David) Fields and children, Meredith and Allison. Carol’s love of horses, dogs, family and friends will all be remembered in a celebration of life in the early part of May, which will be announced at a later date.
