Larry McKinney

Larry Max McKinney, 69, of Rockville, Indiana died at 6:00 am Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in his residence. 

He was the retired owner of McKinney Auto Body Service in Rockville. 

He was born October 19, 1946 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Max McKinney and Martha Phyllis Woodard McKinney. 

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Deborah Spencer McKinney whom he married November 11, 1972 in Rockville; also surviving, two sons, Kyle McKinney of Mooresville, North Carolina and Brad (Kyla) McKinney of Rockville; two sisters, Barbara (Larry) Harney of Rockville and Linda (John) Green of Noblesville; two granddaughters, Kailyn and Kendall McKinney; several nieces and nephews. 

He was a 1964 graduate of Rockville High School and attended Indiana State University. He was a Vietnam Army veteran serving three tours of duty. He was a member of the Rockville Elk's lodge #2471, American Legion Fellenzer post 48 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Paul Taylor post 1752 both in Rockville. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, NASCAR, fly fishing, golf, archery and trap shooting. 

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 7, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville. Inurnment with military graveside honors by Parke County veterans will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Memorial visitation is 4-8 pm Friday at Gooch Funeral Home.
