James O. Bratcher, 77, of Montezuma, Indiana passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Union Hospital Clinton. 

He retired from PSI/Duke Energy Cayuga Generating Station after many years of service. 

He was born February 25, 1945, in Rockville, Indiana to the late Lovid Henry Bratcher and Helen Minton Bratcher. 

His wife Diana White Bratcher whom he married October 14, 1966, passed away January 2, 1994. 

Survivors include his wife Barbara Washburn Bratcher whom he married September 15, 2012. Also surviving, one son, James O. Bratcher, II of Crawfordsville; one sister, Lula Wisdom of Salem, Missouri; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Ann Bratcher in 1970 and many brothers and sisters. 

 He was a 1964 graduate of Rockville High School. He was a member of Nyesville Full Gospel Fellowship Church, and Blanford Sportsman Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening. 

A private burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville.
