VINCENNES — Gregg F. Golden, 66, of Vincennes, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 20, 2014, after a battle with cancer. Gregg grew up in Rockville, and graduated from high school there in 1965. In 1970, he graduated from Purdue. He  was a practicing pharmacist for 43 years, and last worked at  JR Pharmacy in Terre Haute.

Born Sept. 17, 1947, in Gary, he was the son of Nelson F. Golden and Mary Avonelle (McAuliffe) Golden. They preceded him, as well as his wife, Mary Susan (Stoelting) Golden, whom he married April 23, 1977, and passed away Dec. 7, 2002.

Surviving is his daughter, Becky Golden (Chris McCarter) of Terre Haute; his sister, Mary Anne (Ron) Vencel of Terre Haute; and a wonderful group of friends and neighbors.
