Betsy Pierce, 69, of Rockville, Indiana passed away at 5:48 pm Friday, February 14, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

She was a retired accounts receivable manager for Futurex Industries in Bloomingdale with 20 years of service.

She was born May 19, 1950 in Clinton, Indiana to the late James Carnine, Sr. and Betty DePugh Carnine.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Gary Pierce whom she married April 1, 1974 in West Union, Indiana; also surviving, two daughters, Robin (Jeff) Maloney of Mishawaka and Jann (J.P.) Pezan of Rockville; four siblings, Dennis Carnine of Rockville, James Carnine, Jr. of Hobart, Kentucky, Patty Harris of Pryor, Oklahoma and Tammy(David) Clarkston of Kingman; five grandchildren, Tyler Busenbark, Jonathon Pierce, Jacob Hammontree, Lynnea Rusk and Heston Maloney; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristie Kilburn on March 14, 1991. She was a 1968 graduate of Rockville High School. She was a member of the Gamma Sigma chapter of Rockville Tri-Kappa sorority. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting dolls, spending time with her grandchildren and making a home.

Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, February 20, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Gene Walls officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday at Gooch Funeral Home.
